the Quran contains stories of the past, of our prophets; hukum hakam; words of warning, amaran, peringatan; and also words that soothe us, khabar gembira. it describes heaven and hell, it describes hari kiamat. some words and sentence are vague and some are crystal clear. today i came across yet another reminder, another clear reminder from Allah about the fake-ness of the dunia and the real-ness of akhirat yang kekal abadi.
these are so far my most favourite catagory of ayat(s), because it reminds me of how silly i am, how silly humans are to care so much about something which Allah has clearly without berlapik lagi told us about its danger, the danger of loving and obsessing kehidupan dunia ni.
He warns us over and over again.. emphasizing its importance, realizing that this will be our weakest spot. kekayaan, keturunan, kecantikan.. the latest car, fashion (our hair, our clothes) the perfect partner, numerous successful children.
so ok, here is the one i came across today. nak try remember each one that i find, nak share. i always feel silly, stupid, terkilan and menyesal even when i read these ayat(s).. then ill sadaqallahul azim, baca doa, tutup Quran and forget. sometimes i remember for a few hours, sometimes days. this time ill type it out, share it.. maybe it will benefit me better.. and also benefit the rest of you who read this.
people care for what they love, they love what they know, and they know what they are thought. jom spread the word and kenal Quran instead of just kenal dunia, jom.
(57 [al- hadid]:20) "ketahuilah, sesungguhnya kehidupan dunia itu hanyalah permainan, sendagurauan dan perhiasan. dan saling berbangga di antara kamu serta berlumba dalam kekayaan dan anak keturunan seperti hujan yang tanam-tanamanya mengagumkan para petani kemudian tanaman itu menjadi kering dan kamu lihat warnanya kuning kemudian menjadi hancur. dan di akhirat nanti ada azab yg keras dan ampunan dari Allah serta keredhaanNya. dan kehidupan dunia tidak lain hanyalah kesenangan yang palsu."
